Artists and collectors are engaged in a conversation with the future; the production and preservation of cultural objects tell coming generations who we are now and what we value. The selection of recent work in this exhibition represents a range of styles, techniques, and materials, together they paint a picture of today’s fascination with idiosyncratic expression, its basis in materiality and our sometimes-conflicting interest in experimentation and skilled production.
