Jared's signature radiating wave patterns represent connectivity; where we see a void or empty space between ourselves and other people or things, Jared imagines a continuous connection. His lines are a way to visualize the fullness of what we would otherwise perceive as ‘emptiness’.

Jared begins by blowing vessels with an overlay of a one or more colors, then carves his lines into the outer layer of black glass, delicately removing it to reveal the contrasting color underneath. To achieve his precise patterns, he first renders it on the glass by hand then cuts and sand carves in a methodical, meticulous meditative process.
