Hand Knotted Tapestry
by Judit Just Antelo Spain / USA

Judit’s work is inspired by Catalonia’s rich history of tapestry work, particularly those of Josep Grau-Garriga and his explorations of thick, dimensional tapestry. This example represents a substantial increase in scale for the artist, all the better to introduce a new symbolic imagery dealing with doorways, symbols of new beginnings.
